  • Navy-Marine Corps Court Hears Appeal in Wuterich v US: The Navy-Marine Corps Court of Criminal Appeals heard oral arguments on the U.S. v Wuterich appeal from the quashing of a government subpoena of the CBS 60 Minute out-takes of the 2007 Wuterich interview. The government argued only 4 of 12 Federal Circuit Courts recognize journalist privilege while CBS argued press privilege and 1st Amendment rights indicating capitulation would be akin to the press becoming an arm of the military investigation and prosecution.
